My Story
I’m a huge believer in the POWER OF TEAM. I’ve seen organizations struggling due to poor team construction, and I’ve seen teams functioning like high-producing, well-oiled machines. I’ve experienced great leaders that motivated their teams to even greater performance, and I’ve experienced leaders who micro-managed their staff to the point of total growth and trust breakdown.
The performance, productivity, and profit of the organization can, in many cases, be a direct reflection of the health of the team structure. Understanding healthy team structure and tailoring team requirements and actions to fit current needs is key when growing your business or turning workplace toxicity into a culture of growth, initiative, and profit.
I enjoy helping leaders who are struggling with high employee turnover, lack of productivity, and employees who aren’t really suited for their job (perhaps from previous management hiring decisions), or managers stepping into a toxic workplace with “We’ve always done it that way” mentality, to create their dream team of high producing employees that everyone in their industry would like to steal.
That can sound insurmountable, but I know it’s possible because I stepped into those situations several times in my 36 years with DoD (Department of Defense) and felt compelled to change the culture to match my personal management style and expectations. Change management is not easy, but it is doable.
I know that you can turn your situation around, too. If you want to talk, get on my calendar for a discussion. I’d love to chat.
